SBMC enables entrepreneurs and academics to speed up development of new biomaterials for regenerative medicine offering contract R&D, pilot production, quality management and flexible lab rental.

1) Material characterization services for your biomaterial or medical device using the following techniques: SEM, SEM + EDX, Tensile testing, Rheology.
2) Material formulation using our pipetting robot.
3) Material development using the expertise at SBMC and in the ecosystem.
4) Electrospinning development and 3D printing for the fabrication of implants for a variety of biomedical applications.
5) Biocompatibility assessment via standardized cellular assays.
6) Cell-biomaterial interactions to investigate the suitability of your biomaterial solution by studying the response of specific cells and tissues to your material.
7) Advanced cell imaging and analysis solutions. The ML-II cell laboratory at SBMC is fully equipped for a wide variety of cell work, cellular assays and to study cell-biomaterial interactions, fi Inverted epifluorescence microscope, Confocal laser scanning microscope, Multimode plate reader
Our lab facilities have ISO 13485 accreditation. Our cleanrooms are GMP ready.
